Restorative Yoga

In Restorative Yoga you give yourself permission to be in the moment and to allow relaxation to happen. The poses are completely supported with props such as blankets, yoga blocks, and yoga bolsters to position your body in a place of comfort and rest.

In 2016 I took my first Restorative Yoga class. From the first minute, I was in love with this type of yoga. In our hectic world, we need more conscious relaxation and that's exactly what I offer you in my Restorative Yoga classes - conscious RELAXATION. Restorative Yoga reduces stress, strengthens your immune system, relieves tension, and improves your sleep.

Sometimes I teach classes that I call Yoga for the Nervous System. In these courses, I combine consciously performed strengthening exercises with mindful somatic movements before we relax into Restorative Yoga poses.
