Meet the Team

Roll into Relaxation
Silke
Hello! My name is Silke, and I am a German-born yoga teacher whose years of traveling and living abroad have shaped my playful approach to yoga. I call my teaching “Silke Yoga,” blending different styles to meet each student’s needs. My specialties are Restorative Yoga and Yamuna Body Rolling, helping students relax, move with greater ease, and reconnect with their bodies. I believe yoga is a way of living, not about perfect poses. I am passionate about aging with fun and joy, embracing change while staying strong, curious, and connected. My classes invite you to RELAX, ROLL, and FREE UP YOUR ENERGY while enjoying the journey.

Rise to the Challenge
Jenny
Hi, I am Jenny Shemwell, and I discovered my love of yoga in the 1990s, practicing in the many places I have lived and traveled. In 2019, I completed my 200-hour Yoga Alliance certification at Asheville Yoga School and began sharing my passion with others. My adventurous spirit has led me to explore many styles, from Aerial and Ashtanga to Yin, Iyengar, Restorative, and Nidra. My teaching centers on presence, curiosity, breath, movement, alignment, and body awareness. I encourage students to embrace each moment with gratitude, openness, and acceptance. My classes invite you to explore, challenge yourself, and connect more deeply with your body, breath, and the present.

Come for the Yoga, Stay for the Food
Aly
Hello! My name is Alexandrya (Aly), and I’m thrilled to be joining y’all this year. I am 24 and currently attend university while working at a restaurant here in Alabama. Growing up Southern and Latina, food and cooking have always been a huge part of my life. To me, food is more than something we eat; it’s a way of bringing people together, sharing the love, and feeling connected (while being nourished, of course!). The kitchen has never stopped being my happy place through every phase of my life, and I’m so happy to have the opportunity to share that feeling with everyone this fall!

Alle meine Angebote sind geeignet für Anfänger.
