A Spring Yoga Retreat Surrounded by Scenic Wonders

Join us for a relaxing weekend of yoga and nature. This is a gentle invitation to reconnect, recharge, and restore in the rustic beauty of Snail’s Place in Fort Payne, AL.
This retreat is intentionally small and intimate, more like a private gathering among friends than a large retreat. The cozy setting allows for personal connection, shared laughter, and a supportive sense of community. You will have the opportunity to step away from daily responsibilities and intentionally slow down. You are invited to move gently, breathe deeply, and experience a variety of yoga and self-care practices at this idyllic retreat, located just five minutes from the stunning DeSoto State Park.
SCHEDULE
Our retreat will include a mix of gentle yoga, meditation, guided hikes, mindful movement, and shared meals throughout the weekend.
Friday begins with arrival from 4–6 pm, settling in, and an opening circle, followed by dinner and a restorative evening practice. On Saturday afternoon, we will enjoy a special session at a rented yoga studio, in addition to morning practices, outdoor yoga and exploration, and free time. Sunday will continue with morning practice, optional activities, and reflection, and the retreat concludes on Sunday at 2 pm.
The final schedule will be shared at the retreat, allowing for flexibility and flow with the group.
No yoga experience is necessary to attend, and all activities are completely optional—whether you’d like to sleep in, take an extra-long hike, or simply rest, you are welcome to choose what feels best for you.

Accommodation
The home offers multiple bedrooms and bathrooms across two levels, with spacious sleeping arrangements and convenient access to outdoor porches.
Rooms are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Pricing includes all activities, meals, and accommodations.

King bed and bathroom with a large jetted, whirlpool tub, no shower (shared with bedroom #3)

Food
Fresh, nourishing vegetarian meals will be lovingly prepared for the retreat. Zoe cooks with great care and passion, and you can truly taste that in every bite.
On Friday, a light dinner will be provided. On Saturday, you will enjoy a freshly prepared breakfast, brunch, and dinner. On Sunday, we will offer a freshly made breakfast and brunch. Coffee and tea will be available throughout the retreat.
Please let us know in advance if you have any food allergies or dietary needs. You are also welcome to bring a snack or beverage to share if you wish.

Yoga
Silke and Jenny both bring many years of teaching experience and thousands of hours of practice and instruction to this retreat. Together, they offer a thoughtful and varied approach to yoga that meets participants where they are.
Throughout the weekend, you will be guided through a range of practices, including restorative yoga, gentle flow, body rolling, and other supportive self-care techniques designed to encourage ease, strength, and deep rest.
Please bring your yoga mat and any props you enjoy using, such as bolsters, blankets, pillows, meditation cushions, eye pillows, and yoga straps. You are also welcome to bring fascia balls or Yamuna balls. If you need a mat or props, please let us know in advance, and we will do our best to support you.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with payment details. Your registration will be complete once payment has been received. Please note that cancellations made after March 13 are non-refundable. However, you are welcome to transfer your registration to another participant if you are unable to attend.
