Welcome to Savasana Club

We live in a culture that values doing over being. Many of us feel exhausted, yet struggle to allow ourselves to rest. We push forward, even when life already feels like one layer too much.

Exhaustion shows up in many ways
burnout
chronic tension
anxiety
low energy
creative block

If you are tired in ways that sleep alone doesn’t fix, this space is for you.

Why Rest Matters

Rest supports the nervous system, the brain, and emotional well-being.

Regular, intentional rest can:

  • Improve focus and mental clarity

  • Support creativity and intuition

  • Help regulate stress and overwhelm

  • Integrate life experiences

  • Restore balance and resilience

When we rest, the body feels safer, the mind softens, and we reconnect with ourselves more deeply.

What This Club Is About

Savasana Club is rooted in my deep love for rest and pause, and in the belief that rest is essential in today’s fast, demanding world. This is both a practice and a community. A place where you are reminded that you are not alone.

Here, we gently explore:

  • Why rest can feel difficult

  • What happens when we slow down

  • How supported rest helps us regulate, integrate, and restore

This is not about fixing yourself. It is about being yourself.

There are no goals to reach, no outcomes to achieve, and no need to justify your rest.
You are welcome exactly as you are.

How It Works

We meet once a month online via Zoom for 45 minutes, deeply restful practice.

Each session is recorded. If you can’t attend live, you’ll receive the recording and can rest at your own time.

The Zoom link is sent by email 24 hours before each session.

Pricing

The live session is $10

Send $10 via Venmo and include your email address in the notes (https://venmo.com/u/Silke-Steg - last 4 digits 3463)

I know the power of rest from my own life.

I rest to recover after poor sleep.
I rest when I feel anxious, because relaxation and anxiety cannot coexist.
I rest to make space for sadness and grief.
I rest when my energy is low or my body feels vulnerable.
I rest when creativity feels blocked, so inspiration can return.

These are simple moments, but they are powerful. And they are meant to be shared. Savasana Club is an invitation to rest together,
to feel supported, and to remember that you don’t have to earn your pause.

Next session is on February 22

March (no class)

April 26

May 24

always from 1:15 pm - 2 pm CST

About Me

I first discovered rest during a teacher training and immediately knew it was what I needed in my life. Years—and many trainings—later, I feel deeply honored to be learning, studying, and assisting the queen of rest, Judith Hanson Lassater.

Am I relaxed all the time?
Oh my God—no. Not at all.

But the practice of Restorative Yoga has offered me a tool and a community to have a place where I can simply allow myself to be. That has grounded me, balanced me, and changed how I move through life. It’s also what inspires me to share this space with you.

The world needs rest.
You need rest.
We need rest.

Come and join me.
