Mindful Strength Yoga (with Body Rolling)

This class blends mindful, strength-based yoga with a touch of Yamuna Body Rolling. The focus is on building strength sustainably, supporting not only your yoga practice but also healthy aging and ease in daily life.

Alongside yoga postures, you’ll occasionally use specialized Yamuna balls to release tension, improve alignment, and deepen your body awareness. It’s a balanced practice designed to help you feel strong, grounded, and resilient—both on and off the mat.

Slow Flow Into Rest and Relaxation

Slow Flow Into Rest & Relaxation blends some strengthening as well as gentle, mindful movements with restorative yoga to promote deep rest, healing, and renewal. Guided by Silke’s calming presence, this all-levels class is perfect for anyone seeking to unwind, release tension, and feel grounded—no experience needed! In Person & Online

This method is effective for everyone. No matter your age or shape, whether you want to move better, feel better, improve your workout, or relieve stress, Yamuna Body Rolling will work for you.

Restorative Yoga

"Restorative Yoga is magic, and the magic is it doesn’t work if you don’t do it." Restorative Yoga uses props to support the body in comfortable and relaxed poses to promote health, well-being, and relaxation. Explore the power of rest and stillness. When the body is still the mind can rest and healing can occur. Restorative Yoga has endless benefits: muscle relaxation, improved health, boosted immune system, improved sleep, lower heart rate, and, like my teacher always says, "You can't be anxious and relaxed at the same time," which hints at the benefits Restorative Yoga can have for people with anxiety.

This 75-minute class is offered at a 60-minute class price!

Silke approaches the participants with a lot of patience, skill, and attention and encourages everyone to practice at their own pace and according to their own abilities. She offers a variety of options: yoga for energy, strength, relaxation, and flexibility. All of this is framed by her grounding, warm and appreciative presence. Silke's yoga classes are really special and healing on all levels.
